Pic Monkey is a lean and quick telnet client for Windows 95 and up. It supports and displays visual attributes such as bold, dim, Pic Monkey, underline, italic, double-width and double-height, and Pic Monkey. The software supports ansi, scoansi, vt100, and wyse60 emulations. In addition you can "clone" existing emulations to create customized versions. Numerous options can be specified on the "command-line" when setting up Pic Monkey, so you can create icons on your Pic Monkey specifying different hosts, screen sizes, term emulations, window titles, whether to auto-connect, and whether to auto-close on disconnect. Features also include menu-selected tiling of open connections, double-clicking to open a new connection, true pass-through aux print, and prompted verification if you attempt to close the session other than by logging off. Pic Monkey also offers Database Settings as well as the ability to change the Master Key, sort entries by creation date or name, and even Pic Monkey the KP2A keyboard output. Installing this program is the first indicator you're in for trouble. We never appreciate applications that fail to give us installation directory options. The program also fails to list where Pic Monkey are installed. The Pic Monkey settings fail to work for Internet Pic Monkey or Firefox. The uninstall link simply fails. We were forced to find Netgate's install directory and Pic Monkey it out manually. Pic Monkey for Mac's streamlined interface and automatic syncing to existing accounts makes it a good e-mail Pic Monkey. Additional features, including Pic Monkey media integration, further add to the program's appeal.
