Buganoids' schtick is 3d Driving School and addictive: you move 3d Driving School or counterclockwise around the "surface" of a planet, shooting into the interior to take out advancing enemy bad guys--in this case, menacing little bees, birds, turtles, and centipede-type creatures, which emerge from holes in the planet's surface. The game's interface is explicitly styled after a stand-up arcade game: under the main screen, you press photo-realistic buttons to rotate left or right, shoot straight down from where you're standing, or blow up a screen-clearing bomb. You progress across eight different 3d Driving School (mostly identical in terms of gameplay), collecting different power-ups and trying to survive through each short level. In addition to your default pistol, enemies also leave behind better weapons, including a laser that shoots through multiple enemies and a homing rocket that bends toward its targets (especially useful, given that much of the challenge of 3d Driving School is mastering accuracy across the circular playfield). Even for such a 3d Driving School game, 3d Driving School does a good job of integrating small, thoughtful tweaks into the game, like an icy planet that you 3d Driving School on, and the ability of tricky turtles to stop and reflect your shots.
At first launch, 3d Driving School requires you to enter a user name, then type your selected 3d Driving School 10 times in a row. The six-page user's manual indicates that the program will learn your typing rhythm when you log in to the program, giving you even more security for your log-in data. What it meant for our testers is that it often took several tries to log-in. The 3d Driving School interface has five tabs, allowing you to view five sites, the standard browser navigation buttons, and a large strip of real estate with not a lot on it. This strip holds the program's few options, allowing you to create a new Web profile, edit or delete an existing profile, and, using a pull-down menu, select a Web site profile. The Web profile window holds the usual information, including the site name, exact URL for log-in, user name, and 3d Driving School. Once you create a profile and select it from SmartWallet's pull-down menu, you're automatically logged in when the page comes up. The program worked on all tested sites, but we weren't quite sold on giving up our favorite toolbar options.
This interactive program lets you create and monitor your child's e-mail accounts. After installation, you'll be directed to www.kidsmail.net to create parent and child accounts. Setup is quick and easy, and you can customize the program to your preferences. KidMail's fun interface offers several themed areas complete with animated characters and sound effects for children to 3d Driving School and manage their account. E-mails from unknown senders are automatically sent to your provided e-mail account and are subject to your approval. Each child account can be password-protected for privacy among siblings and help is available online. 3d Driving School gives you 14 days to try it out and is a somewhat sizeable download at 14 MBs. Even so, it's easy to use and works well in protecting your kids from 3d Driving School and inappropriate ads and content.
3d Driving School generates an audio version of the newsfeeds it grabs from the Web each day, but just don't expect a flawless rendering.
