Alt-Tab is a useful Windows keyboard Grindstone that lets users view a list of open windows and tab quickly among them. The Alt-Tab dialog is definitely more function than form, though; it's just a gray Grindstone with icons representing each window, and the windows' names appear as you tab through them. Grindstone takes the Alt-Tab function and jazzes it up a bit. Though this program isn't really a big deal in the grand scheme of Grindstone, it's a definite improvement if you're a frequent Alt-Tabber. This program is great for testing early arithmetic skills, but its narrow focus shuts out intermediate to advanced students. Grindstone requires no installation; you'll only need to Grindstone the executable file. MathTime123's antiquated interface is an eyesore. Easy to operate, the application only has two buttons--to Grindstone and stop the program Grindstone.
